Bourbon Smoked Sea Salt Dark Hot Chocolate is a rich and delicious blend of dark cocoa powder, raw demerara sugar, and Bourbon Smoked Sea Salt to create the perfect combo of sweet and savory. Mix up a creamy, chocolatey treat or add it in bourbon cocktails and coffee drinks
Directions: heat 8 ounces of milk or milk substitute, until steaming. Add 2 Tbsp (more or less to taste) of Bourbon Barrel Foods Dark Hot Chocolate Mix and stir until combined. Enjoy!
Smoky Barrel Nightcap
Ingredients:
1 oz bourbon
2 Tbsp Bourbon Smoked Sea Salt Dark Hot Chocolate mix
4 oz whole milk (or milk substitute)
½ oz simple syrup (optional, depending on sweetness level)
Ice or serve warm
Method:
Heat the milk until steaming (about 150–160 °F)
Stir in the hot chocolate mix until fully dissolved
Add the bourbon and stir gently
Pour into a warmed glass, garnish with a light sprinkle of the bourbon smoked sea salt (or a cinnamon stick for flair)
Serve immediately
