Least - “Alexandrite & Pearl”

Least has decided to flex their musicianship on their latest, “Alexandrite & Pearl”. At just 3:18, they manage to stick, move, and then shift musical gears multiple times showcasing a unit in full command of their craft in a tidy, radio ready package. Vocalist Taylin Willis is in top form, effortlessly showcasing a clean, high register. It brings to mind The Mars Volta’s “Wax Simulacra”, but improves on the formula with intelligible vocals and coherent lyrics. Definitely a “must listen” for fans of Armor For Sleep or Thursday.

“Alexandrite & Pearl” is out now on all streaming platforms.
