Have your Kleenex box on hand before you press play on this one. Hayden Baker will play your heartstrings like a like a classical violinist on this touching story song. He sings about his grandparents enduring love, and the whole song is just dripping with lush Americana imagery. The sparse instrumentation up top makes you focus on the lyrics, and on a track like this it’s exactly what you should be doing. It’s the kind of song that’s going to make you well up for all the right reasons. Kudos to Hayden and co-writer Trent Willmon for crafting this piece of American poetry.
